Step 1 Plan Your Trip

The first step in starting the Char Dham Yatra is planning your trip. 1. The journey can be started from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun as per your convenience.
2.Do not forget to carry necessary documents like Aadhaar card, driving license, or passport with you on the journey.
3.Char Dham Yatra facility is available for the pilgrims on foot and by helicopter.
4.Biometric registration is mandatory for Char Dham Yatra. Booking can be done both offline and online.
5.People who are unable to walk can also travel by palanquin, horse and pittu.
6.Carry warm gloves, jacket, sweater, woolen socks and raincoat during the journey.
